What Is Presbyopia?

What Happens During a Custom Lens Replacement Eye Surgery?

During the lens replacement procedure at Toledo LASIK, our doctors will make a small incision in the edge of the cornea. A small probe is inserted through the incision to gently dismantle and vacuum out the damaged lens. The multifocal intraocular lens (IOL) implant is then inserted into place. The entire custom lens replacement procedure is completed within half an hour, and improvements in vision are seen quickly.
